Palm Paddle

Palm Paddle

The Palm Paddle is designed to reduce the swimmers hold of the water in the hand so that:

  • it is easier for the swimmer to press (drop the hand) into the push position – the start of propulsive phase; and
  • to encourage the swimmer to use the forearm as well as the hand for propulsion.

The single strap on the Palm Paddle provides continuous feedback to the swimmer; only when the stroke is performed correctly does the Palm Paddle remain in place – like having a coach with you throughout the swim!

When the Palm Paddle is removed, and the full surface area of the hand is regained, together with a quicker press, the feeling of extra power and propulsion improves body position and speed through the water!
